The SAEOP Bylaws Committee is submitting a proposal to amend the SAEOP Bylaws in order to provide for the function of SCOT (Seattle Classified Organizing Team) within the SAEOP structure. The SAEOP Board has approved the amendment.

As you know, both SAEOP and Parapros participate in SCOT; both groups will have identical language in their bylaws around SCOT.  The SAEOP amendment posted here adds language in two articles: Article IV, regarding the duties of the SAEOP President, and Article XI, regarding participation in SEA.  The proposed changes are in bold red type.  You may read the full text of the proposed changes here.

 

The SAEOP membership will vote on this amendment of the bylaws at the general meeting on March 20, 2012 at 5:15pm, the location will be announced.
