Attendance
Sign in sheet of the SAEOP members in attendance on file with the secretary Mary Smith.  Present at the general meeting were SAEOP board members: President Debbi Passi, Secretary Mary Smith, Treasurer Sue Daley, Members at Large Jenny Evans, Penny Knutzen, Antoinette Felder. Special Guests: Glenn Bafia - Executive Director SEA and Catherine Erickson from the SSD Employee Assistance Program 

Meeting called to order by SAEOP President
Debbie Passi, SAEOP Board President called the meeting to order @ 5:05 PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2009.

Treasurer's Report
The SAEOP Board Treasurer Sue Daley gave the Treasurer's Report. $500 in SAEOP Scholarship was paid out to the 2008 scholarship winner. Sue Daley reported that funds can be spent to reimburse SAEOP members' expenses for the March WAEOP convention. SAEOP will pay 50% of the registration fee for the SAEOP Members who attend. After review, Jenny Evans, Member at Large moved to approve the financial report. The motion was seconded and approved.

Glenn Bafia - Executive Director of the SEA
Glenn Bafia spoke to the SAEOP membership about the current topics that are up for discussion within the Union; Arbitration, Open Positions, Displacement, Seniority Lists, Budget Votes at the Building Level. See the Addendum for more information.

Catherine Erickson from the Employee Assistance Program
Catherine Erickson spoke to the SAEOP membership about the Employee Assistance Program and some stress reducing techniques. See the Addendum for more information.

Meeting adjourned
The Meeting was adjourned @ 7:00 PM by Debbie Passi, SAEOP President
